10 Craft Ideas To Do With Pikachu Coloring Pages

Here are some innovative and inexpensive ideas to do with those finished pages.
1. Pikachu Pumpkin
Pikachu is perfect for this cute craft, and it begins with giving each youngster a pint-size pumpkin. These should be spray-painted yellow with craft paint, or the child can get creative and paint them by hand. Pikachu should be colored, cut out, and glued to the pumpkin’s surface. Those famous big ears can be made from yellow construction paper and taped to the top for an adorable Pikachu centerpiece!
2. Pikachu Desktop Companion
This easy craft starts with laminating an empty bathroom tissue cardboard with yellow construction paper. Next, the youngster’s first initial should be traced and cut from the remaining paper. When Pikachu’s face is colored and cut out, it should be glued to the outer surface of the top of the cardboard roll, and yellow pom-poms should be added as little hands. The initial should be glued to one of the pom-poms as if Pikachu is holding the letter!
3. A Funny Stick Puppet
Begin this fun craft with an empty paper towel cardboard, and cut it down to about two-thirds. A large craft stick should be placed inside the bottom, and the bottom sealed around it with krazy glue. When Pikachu is colored, he should be glued to thin cardboard, cut out, and sealed in contact paper. The cutout should then be pasted to the top of the roll, and the child has a fun stick puppet to take anywhere!
4. A Unique Squishy Book
This unique craft requires only a mini-notebook, cotton balls, and the Pikachu coloring page. On the front cover of the notebook, glue a layer of cotton batting or cotton balls. Craft glue works best for this. When Pikachu is colored, the page should be trimmed to the notebook size. It should then be glued to the layer of cotton balls, using craft glue again, and sealed with a coat of glassine for a homemade puffy notebook.
5. Happy Birthday Pikachu
If your youngster is having a Pikachu-themed birthday party, use those finished coloring pages to make cake and cupcake toppers. The child can color several Pikachu characters in different sizes and use one for the main cake topper and others for cupcakes. To make it extra fun, let the youngster finish them in various shades or even crazy patterns! Once they are glued to cardboard and sealed with contact paper, popsicle sticks can be attached so that they can be used as colorful and unique toppers.
6. An Original Pikachu Tree
This classroom craft is a big hit with all students. Divide the children into groups to color their pages. The Pikachu characters should be glued to thin cardboard and cut out. Next, give each group of youngsters a square of ordinary styrofoam in which to insert large craft pipe cleaners. These will become the branches of the “tree.” They can be twisted and turned in any direction the children decide. When holes are punched in the tops of the cutouts, thread or string can be used to tie them to the “branches,” and the students have fantastic classroom ornaments.
7. Pikachu Pincushion
Youngsters can make a hilarious pincushion from a Pikachu coloring page. Once the character is carefully cut out, it should be attached to thin cardboard. Then, several layers of yellow cotton balls or pom-poms should be glued to Pikachu’s belly. When this section is covered with a light coating of acrylic spray, it becomes a hilarious pincushion that really works!
8. Comical Pikachu Party Favor Bags
Begin this craft with ordinary yellow party favor bags, and have the children cut out Pikachu from the finished pages. The head, ears, and body should be cut out separately. The face should be glued toward the top of the bag, just under the handle, and the body further to the bottom. In the middle, the recipient’s name can be written in bright red puffy paint. Finally, the ears should be glued to the top corners, sticking out diagonally, for hilarious party favor bags.
9. Wear Those Giant Ears
All youngsters love wearing comical hats or crowns, so why not Pikachu ears? Begin this craft by making a simple headband from stiff cardboard. Next, have each child color two Pikachu characters and cut them out. From yellow construction paper, the children can trace and cut out two giant ears, coloring the tips black with craft paint or marker. The ears should be glued to the headband, and the two Pikachu characters should be glued to the ears for hilarious and unique headgear!
10. Design Pikachu Dinnerware
Children love colorful dinnerware with pictures of animals or comic strip characters, and nothing is better than homemade versions of these items. Give your youngster an inexpensive plate or bowl from a discount store. Make sure it is plastic and transparent. When Pikachu is colored and cut out, the character should be glued to the bottom of the bowl or plate on the outer surface, facing upwards. A layer of contact paper should be placed over the top to keep it in position, and the bowl or plate can be used for chips, pretzels, or any treat that’s not messy.
